Most projects take about 4 months. The biggest variable is your town's building department, since some move a lot faster than others.
We just need 3 things. Your most recent electric bill, a signed Letter of Authorization, and site photos (only if requested). We take care of everything else from there.
It lets us file with your building department and power company on your behalf, so you don't have to deal with either one.
Yes. We'll send it over before we file for your permit so you can see where the panels are going and how everything is laid out.
If your project is in permitting, it's probably just sitting with your building department which can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. But if you ever want an update, you can email [email protected] anytime and we'll give you an update as soon as possible.
It's the application we send your power company so your system can connect to the grid. It's also how you get net metering credits for the extra power your panels make.
The equipment will get delivered a day or two before installation. On installation day, we will need someone home in the morning as well as your WiFi name and password. Most installs are done in one day but we will let you know if more time is needed.
Your system still needs to be inspected by a 3rd party so ensure everything is installed to code. As soon as we pass the inspection we send that over to your power company for their final review of your interconnection request. Once they approve, we'll reach out to get your system turned on.
Your power company still charges a monthly service fee, even if your panels cover all of your usage. That's normal and it's not an error.
For every friend or family member you refer, we'll send you $1,000 after they're installed. Just have them mention your name when they reach out or share their contact details with us here.
